      Llamas & Miniature Horses

Home Page
Welcome...

Our farm is located outside of Hawkinsville, Ga. in the central part of the state where we raise
llamas and miniature horses.  We started with llamas in 1996 when we bought our first two males
at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Ga.  We have enjoyed having them around and interacting with them ever since.

We have taken them to many shows from Kentucky to Florida and we have also met some really nice people which was one reason we decided to get into llamas.

We had a lot of things to learn to take care of these unusual creatures.  First of all, they or not native to Middle Ga. so they don't do well in the summer (neither do we).

We went to a shearing clinic when we got our first two and learned what kind of shears to buy and how to shear them.  We have sheared many since that clinic, ours and we also offer a shearing service.

In the spring we shear all of our llamas and then when the weather starts getting hot we put fans out for them and kiddie pools they can stand or sit in.  They will also come up to you to be sprayed with the hose.
